Nice to hear his Voice

As I said, my hubby is gone again. Even though we are not able to see each other it is sooooo nice to be able to talk on the phone whenever we want (and for FREE). With him being over seas so much this is such a priveledge. That him in the picture. Cute, right? LOL...In case you can't tell I love that man with every fiber of my being. I have been busy this week networking with people through online programs such as myspace or twitter. Also found this great resource at http://wahmfreeadforum.proboards85.com/. I can talk to other home biz moms & dads there and advertise for free. The lady that runs it does an awesome job. I am doing and online chat Candle Party with them next week. I am so excited about the possibilities with this. I will let you know what the link is as soon as I get it. I know it will be Wednesday evening from 7-9pm eastern. I just got my newest Candle of the Month today. It is called Mediterranean Spa. It is so fresh and relaxing. It is sure to be a pleaser. Check it out @ my online store. I guess that is all for now. Have a blessed and prosperous weekend.

Not even 24 hours

Hello from sunny Hawaii. It's hard to believe it has been a month since my last post. I am so bad about keeping this up to date. I am continuing to heal up from my motorcycle accident pretty well. My hubby has been gone again for the last 7 weeks. He came home for a brief and I do mean brief moment last Friday. He was home not even 24 hours before I put him on yet another plane. Only 6 more weeks til I see him again. I tell you being a military spouse is not for wimps. Thank God above for his strength. Lord knows that is how I get through. I have been keeping myself busy building a website for the spouses club here. Feel free to check it out if you want. It is http://www.huispirit.com/ . It is simple but to the point. I have been wanting to to some more updating on my personal biz site @ http://www.foreverburningbrite.com/ . I try to keep everything going but sometimes I get a little overwhelmed with it all. That brings me to a new book I am reading. It's called Having a Mary heart in a Martha World by Joanna Weaver. It is all about trying to have more of a heart of worship with our Lord Jesus Christ in this busy world of ours. I just got into, so I will keep you updated. It has already made me laugh so much because I can totally relate. I imagine many women would be able too. I guess I should close out. I am having a friend for dinner tonight. Her hubby is away again also. We might as well help one another. I pray this finds you all well. Be blessed.

Happy 4th!

Happy 4th of July everyone. I pray this finds you all blessed. I am going to a BBQ this afternoon. I have been baking up a storm for it. I made a Carmel Apple Pie and a Fruit Tart with red and blue berries and a white filling. It should be perfect for today. I celebrated my 14th wedding anniversary on the 2nd. Wow! What a gift it is to have such a wonderful marriage. My hubby is away again with the military, but I did celebrate with friends. Found this awesome Italian restaurant. It was recommended by a friend of mine from church. I am truly blessed to be surrounded by Christ centered friends. I have been busy this morning updating my websites & blog for my candle biz opportunity. I am also working on a new website for the military spouses club. I will share it with you when I get it together. I am very excited about it. It is a different system than I am use to though and am getting a little frustrated. I am going to have to ask for some help on this one. Oh, I have regained full range of motion now in my left arm. Praise God! I went to show a friend yesterday that I still couldn't lift my arm straight up and was pleasantly shocked when it shot right up there. LOL.....God is good. I guess that is all for now. Again have a wonderful weekend. Trust God with all your plans-Prov. 16:3

God is Good!

Hello people. The last couple of months have been difficult for me, but very rewarding. I was involved in a motorcycle accident back in May and have been recovering since. I am so thankful that not only were the injuries mostly minor, but that God provided people around me to help out. That is a lesson to be learned for me. I am usually the person that is helping others. Funny, how God puts theses things in front of us so we can learn different lessons. I have been very blessed with new customers for my Gourmet candle business. I have the best customers in the world. They check up on me and offer to help me out if I need it. My husband is back in Vietnam again for work. I hope they find some more remains to help bring some closure to more families. Yes, to many peoples surprise they are still looking. I guess that is all for now. I pray this finds you blessed. Remember God care for you...1Peter 5:7

PARTY!!!!

That Mystery hostess candle party I was talking about turned our AWESOME! I had such a blast with these ladies. The food and fellowship was good. What was so great is that the ladies were so excited I didn't even have to do a presentation. They just wanted to smell theses wonderful gourmet candles and get to buying. Who am I to argue with that. I would highly recommend anyone with a home business try a Mystery hostess party. You hold it and make way for them to be entered into the drawing. At the end one of them end up the winner of the hostess benefits. I had in order for them to be entered a minimum of a $25 order. This bumped sales to my record high for a party. I am extremely blessed to have found such a wonderful work at home business. I know with this company and these products I will go far.

Military & Scheduling

I tell you, sometimes I would just like to schedule something without having to check with the army first. Some of you know what I mean. My hubby and me are trying to have a baby through fertility treatments. He goes away about every six weeks for his job. Trying to get into the clinic and get things done is hilarious. They tell us to wait or they don't have enough staff to do an exam that week. Like my system is suppose to run on their schedule. Being a military hospital, you would think they would understand that we don't have all the time in the world to mess around. I did however finally get in and got my fertility drugs and we should know something in the next few weeks. I will keep you posted. Other than that I have been busy getting ready for my Mystery Hostess Candle Party this weekend. It should be alot of fun. I have been calling around today to get confirmation of people coming. I can't wait for it. I am so excited for the person that will reap the benfits from this get together. I gues that's it for now. Just remember Jeremiah 29:11....He has a future and a hope for you. Be blessed!

Back on track

Well here I am again. It has been way to long. Sometime we (aka "me") allow life to get in the way of our goals and dreams. I am committed to achieving even more success in my Gourmet Candle Biz, and in my marriage. My husband is home for a few weeks. It is really nice to have him home if only for a little while. We are still trying to have a baby. I know God will bless us in His perfect timing. I have begun putting up inspirational quotes in my office. Today's is this: " Fall in love with the pursuit of your dreams!" I had never thought of it that way before. I have also gotten back on business building calls. The call today was great! My dream is to build my business so that when our children do come I know I will be able to support our family not just financially, but emotionally, and spiritually. God has placed me where I am right now and I am grateful for this blessed opportunity. I have my eye on the prize and will press toward the mark. I guess that is it for now. I pray this finds you all blessed.

He's gone

He's gone yet again. I knew it was coming and yet I am never quite prepared for it. I am sure between my gourmet candle business and my mom visiting for 3 weeks the time will go by quickly. Fortunately I also have quite a few shows coming up to keep me busy. My mom will get to experience my business first hand. I can't wait til she comes. It has been over a year since I have seen her. I know she will love hanging out in Hawaii compared to the cold Minnesota winter. I know I would be a total cold weather wuss if I had to be there. I have become to acclimated to this lovely tropical weather. There are some benefits to this military life. I do love traveling and getting to experience different cultures. Hawaii even though a state is very much like being in a foreign country. They even have their own language. I am picking some up here and there, but don't think I will ever fully grasp it. It is so beautiful though. There family life is very important to them and life is just a little slower here. Something that really takes getting use to compared to the mainland US fast pace. If inviting a local to your home be sure to tell them a half hour earlier than when you really want them. They just might be on time this way. I need to head out tomorrow to make a couple of deliveries and then I have church in the evening. I look forward to having some fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Our Senior pastor is in the Philippines so maybe our Youth pastor will fill in. I really like the enthusiasm he puts into his sermons. Well it is getting late here. I will say good bye for now. Be blessed in all you do.

Always glowing & growing,

Jennifer

Here we go again

Well here we go again. I am preparing for my hubby to leave the country yet again. I know it is only six weeks and that is a lot better than the year most of military spouses are dealing with. Please believe me when I tell you it doesn't get any easier, nor should it. I think I would be concerned about our relationship if it was easy to have that time of separation. On a good note though it really does keep us strong in our relationship. It leaves us always wanting more of one another. I guess you could call us perpetual newlyweds even after 14 years together. I have been keeping myself busy lately with family visiting. I have lived all over the world but as soon as we move to Hawaii everybody wants to come and visit. Mind you I am not complaining. Quite the contrary. I am absolutely blessed to have my family come and see me. I would love to go home to Minnesota sometime soon though. It is almost spring and should be turning nice there. Plus when I go there I can visit everyone. I plan on going before the fall. I have to because after that I get really busy with everybody doing home parties and such for Christmas with my Gourmet candle business. I know it sounds far off, but now days time just seems to be going at warp speed. We had a visiting Pastor at church today from Nepal. Wow! We are so blessed as Americans. I hope none of us take that for granted. The smallest thing was huge to him and his congregation and yet we complain about the smallest things. Food for thought. We are completely and abundantly blessed by our Father in Heaven. I pray that this finds you all well. Be blessed and be thankful.

Welcome

Hi,

Welcome to my blog. My name is Jennifer and I am a military wife and have been for almost 14 years now. What an amzing journey it has been so far. We have lived all over the world, moving almost every 2 years. It does get frustrating sometimes, but is so worth it to be with my wonderful husband Brian. I also have my own gourmet candle business that I work online and through home parties and fundraisers. It is very exciting to be able to work from our home and still earn an income. I am truly passionate about what I do and look forward to being able to tell and show others all about it. If you would like to learn more about the opportunity or our gourmet candle and bath products please check it out @ www.foreverburningbrite.com . I am truly and abundantly blessed by God. I look forward to hearing from other women with a like mind.
